All businesses have to be able to make money to stay in business. They either have to build the best product there is that people can afford or have to be priced competitive against products of the same quality. US businesses have been moving operations off shore for over 50 years to either maximize profits or to stay competitive.
Unless a company is employee owned they owe the worker their earned pay and bennies. They own their loyalty to the stock holders. Sure they have happier worked if the show some loyalty but they don't owe the worker loyalty. Just how many of those workers show loyalty to the company or do the sit around a BBQ pit with a beer and their co-workers bad mouthing the company? Loyalty is a 2 way street.
