Howard...remove the spark plugs and fill the cylinders with a 50/50 mix of ATF and acetone. Let it soak for several weeks. The mushroom stack air intake was a dealer installed option and not very rare. The plastic bowl ones were used on 720's and came through the hood instead of the nose cone. If you have live pto you'll have a clutch pack in front of the pto cover and an engagement lever on the right side of the battery box. Can't tell from your pics what you have for sure.
