I'm retired from City Utilities, but we had seen almost everything put back in when we pulled the electric meter for non=payment. Best thing, and it worked for a while.... was two steak knives pushed into the blade sockets. Works! Will carry a load, Steel coat hanger pieces only work for a few lights, not for A/C heat pumps. Never saw anybody get killed, but it was not for lack of trying.
