Off the meds again, John? I go to auctions when they have something I might want and I don't think I'm trash, actually a rather respectable, honest and likeable person (who doesn't throw trash on the ground). Yes, I'm trying to pay the least I can for equipment and tools, I don't apologize for that. I don't have an unlimited budget and don't have time to chase ebay and craigslist sellers all over the area. Besides I've never seen the deals I have gotten at live or on-line auctions on either place. I even find things that I didn't know I needed until I saw it! I look at the on-line auctions too but I think more people have found them and the bargains are getting fewer, still some good stuff available for a decent price, assuming someone else doesn't want it more.
As for the people there are some trashy types, but really few, and I've enjoyed talking and laughing with the locals I run into, even the Amish guys are really friendly and willing to talk about farming and their life.
