It's a sad sign of our culture and it is most places, not just at auctions. I'm in our local Lions Club and we run a summer coed youth softball league in our little town. After the games us senior citizens have to pick up the trash left behind and throw it in one of the numerous trash cans sitting in close proximity. I also am a trail horse rider and it is sad to see the number of cans (99% beer) that people throw along the trails in a wilderness area. Our culture is sloppy to say the least.
