Lack of trash cans isn't the reason. I go to a consignment sale 40 minutes from me and they have 6 sales a year. They have dozens of trash cans on the lot, and they still have trash stuck everywhere, sometimes within a few feet of a can.
The "want to stay with the action" is also not the case. I see guys do it no matter how far away they are from the truck. Plus, you went to the food truck to get the plate, why is it so hard to go back to the trash can?? You can fold a plate, or drain and crush a can to fit them in your pocket...
It's just annoying that people who go to a sale can't be bothered. They're as bad as people who toss trash out their car window, actually, they probably ARE people who throw trash out the window.
