I first remember an auction in about 1955. There was no visible trashing of the grounds or sale items. I think humanity has drifted towards a combination of disrespect and stupidity. I picked up trash on the way to work today (and many days) to keep my community clean and associated with clean means cared for. Attitudes can fail. A feeling that "this farmer failed and I do not need to act civil on the failed property" Is so wrong. A sign that says "All registered bidders must stay to police the grounds of litter at 5:30." Jim
