The coil on my Oliver 880 caught on fire just sitting in the barn.Burnt the some wiring and the coil. by the time I found it the fire was out. Could have burnt the 880, the barn and another tractor. The points were blue. Looks like the ignition was left on. I've left the ignition on before on tractors and all I got was a dead battery.Has anybody else had this happen.
