Since this is bound to come up a lot in the next couple months, let me repeat something often stated by John T in prior years. If you are going to ask for legal or tax advice on a tractor forum, make sure the person responding is qualified to give you an answer. I'm sure you have heard his "Billy Bob and Bubba..." comment. You should really find a good local CPA to help you with this return. You will likely need help until the note is retired. The best advice you will get is face to face with someone who can ask you questions and see documents. My email is open if there are specific issues that are troubling you in the meantime.
