On that lucas starter it is not pinned. If you tilt it and mess with it the right way it will usually come. I say usually because the lever is held in with an eccentric bolt and depending on where its turned it may not leave enough room to disengage it. When you get it out post a picture of the part that engages the lever and i'll try to find a number. jstpa
