I have a Peerless boiler unit installed 1965 still solid have upgraded burner about 15 years ago and circulators about 10 years ago but the unit itself is in good shape. My house has two heating plants, you might call the the house a duplex. It's a 2 story hip roof colonial built mid 1800's and was set up as 4 separate apartments. The house was used as a single family by my grandfather and duplex by my dad and uncle. That's why there's two central heating plants both installed 1965. One side is on it's third boiler (first lated 40 years 2nd just under ten was warrantied for ten so it was replaced by mfg). Now my son lives in 2nd unit. Chuck
