Don't like cats, but they do impress me.
having to get strays or drop-offs out of my buildings by hand has got me a lot of scars. impossibly fast writhing demons.
Watched one stalk my dog who was rustling leaves.
Twice the cats size, figured the cat would back off when he realized...uh..dog. Nope. I waited until he gathered himself to leap, then yelled him off. He was going to give it a go.
Best story I didn't see, but heard. Neighbors cat, who is cared for but is not a house cat. He is always around here grabbing chipmunks..good cat. Woke up, middle of the night to a battle outside my window. More than one coyote, furious cat, very loud fight. That's a shame...cat is history.
Next day, neighbors cat had survived..after healing up, still a good hunter. tough critter
