I got a check on the lawn mower engine engine class action thing from a few years ago. So many filed a claim on it that the original amount projected got cut about in half. Had a nice dinner on it is all. Most I see are offering discounts on additional purchases, those I trash. One was for a class action against a life insurance company I have a policy with, you had to buy more life ins. to get any benefit from the "settlement". Only the lawyers got any cash. The policy has been very good still, the annual dividend almost pays the annual premium.
