I don't know anything about filter numbers or what fits what. In the early 1970's I was working with Hastings on a filter prototype plastic base. They took me on a tour of the manufacturing machinery. What I noticed was out of one machine several different company names was coming out of the machine with the only change was the color and printing on the outside. The filters were exactly the same. The fellow told me that all filter company's work together to do this on low volume items to keep the cost of manufacturing so the sale price could be within reason.
