Every time that I hear an "expert" rationalize to the impth degree why stocks dropped today, or yesterday, or last month, or last year, I chuckle. "Today the DOW dropped 343 points because of ..., and ..., and ...". When stocks go up, no such precise answers. But when they go down, they know exactly that it happened due to fears about the Chinese, or because of fears about lower oil, or because of fears and uncertainties about ...? Of course, when the stock market does well, there is no shortage of those that will jump up and down waving their hands to take credit for it, "Me, me, me, me, the market is doing great because of me". But when the market tanks, all hands go down and the same people turn and look away and shrug, "Who? Me? This? No way, nothing to do with it. I know exactly why it crashed, but it was those guys that caused it, not me".
I give up, except for chuckling when I hear another "expert" tell me exactly why...
