I just feed out about 10 steers a year that I sell direct to the customer . My price is the same as it was a year ago although I think I was selling them a little cheaper than others were getting. I even brought two market steers from a friend to fill the orders I had last year. Its looking like I've got everything sold this year. I've built a good customer base over the years and like to keep them happy. Overall I do pretty good although it is a pain sometimes as opposed to dropping them off at the stock yards and getting a check in the mail a couple days later.
