It is to the point now you have to shop everything. Recently I needed a strut for a Camry. Best price local was double what I could get online, and it was the exact same part, and shipping was free, and I avoided the sales tax to boot. A couple bucks is one thing, but $50 or $60 is quite another. On the other hand, I was looking for a carb kit today and I can buy local for less on that. Well, Oreilly is not really what I consider local, and they do not stock it anyhow. I have been known to ask local to price match, and sometimes they will if it means they will lose the sale. I now buy most automotive type parts online due to prices.
