I have replaced them twice on mine. Take the large snap ring out of the housing to get the shaft and bearing out. The small bushing on the PTO end keeps the bearing in place and is the seal surface. It must be replaced with the seal. Nick it lengthwise with a chisel in two or three places to loosen it. The new one must be heated, then dropped on to the shaft and held against the bearing till it grips. Tapered end goes out. Be careful not to mar the seal surface and get it hot enough so it drops on. It cools quickly once it's on the shaft and if it's not all the way on you won't get it back off without ruining it. BTDT. As I recall it was hot enough to yellow the steel.
