Hi Gang;
One of the 600 year old Yew Trees in Nevern Church yard is totally unique. A couple of hundred years ago when a branch was trimmed, red sap has oozed out ever since.
Unlike normal tree sap which is sticky, this is non-sticky and red coloured. Legend has it that it is "The Blood of Christ", and the church has been a place of pilgrimage for years.
