Talking about old ways of writing check out the new translation of Don Quixote. It is a red cover paper back that is like almost 3 inches thick. I am an avid reader but that book to me almost two plus months to read. As you said it is different and this book you need to slow down and read it as if you are sitting in an old tavern with a bunch of travelers by the fire. It really is a very good read and the end is so sad. A&E had a movie of it over two nights with John Latgoue ? as the main lead. The actor who was in Rodger rabbit was his faithful side kick. They still haven't released it to the American market!
