The gens new and puts out 25v when it's hooked up to the regulator. the GEN light is on and the voltage hunts continuously and goes higher (too high) at high RPM's Yes I can get the regulator tested and might do that. I wonder if when I ask what happened to it if I'll get ore than a shrug ?
The regulator in the tractor has heavier wire all around so I maybe incorrectly assumed that the thin wire was for the lower voltage I suppose it could be for low voltage and high amperage.
