Yep in 82 there was a big flood. That was the biggest that I remember. Just east of Springfield they got 20" of rain in about 24 hours. Dad lost a combine and a tractor in that flood. The next biggest that I've seen was in 2011 but it lacked 8' getting to the water mark set in 82. My grandad made a mark from the flood in 1917. I think that flood would make this one look like a spring shower.
