I may have posted this before, but I just happened to see it again on youtube.
This "blackstone canal tours" program is fantastic. My wife and our friends take turns driving the wagons, unfortunately this video was done on a day my wife wasn't there, but still nice to see our friends.
The kids from South high do a fantastic job narrating the tours - these are city kids, it's a rough school This program is so far out of their normal lives that I think it's great they all make such a good effort. Some are great at it, some are simply awful, some barely speak english, but they all take it seriously and try hard which makes it all fun. Not only do they enjoy doing it, they're all learning to appreciate the history of the city they live in.
Very low budget, informal, and very loosely structured - but they always make it very enjoyable for the guests.
People are always amazed that it's free. And that allows a lot of families to join in that normally wouldn't be able to.

I have been restoring old Farm Tractors for the past 6 years, and have found it easier and less expensive to hit all the auctions and purchase whole tractors for parts needed. My wife who works at a local school, and only has weekends and summers off, while on t
