Any snow at Janesville? We picked up about 8 inches the other day. Makes the pheasant hunting different for sure. Sue says Jim had gotten a few. About your Teflon tape. Their reasoning is that it comes off when removing hoses and plugs etc and then works it's way into the valve. I still use it on occasion if threads are really bad. I much prefer Loctite Teflon hydraulic thread sealer. It is sold at parts store, imp dealers etc. Not cheap but works good on nice dry threads. Deere sells it under their own part number but it is Loctite. Being Deere, the parts people may argue though.
