Not sure where to post this but here goes. I have been lurking on this site for about 10 years, just registered today. I grew up on a diversified farm in North Dakota in the late 60's/early 70's. I'm looking for a picture of a setup like my Dad had on the farm. We had 2 John Deere R's and in the spring we would plant everything on the farm with what we called Plow, packer and drill. Behind the R's we had what I determined was a John Deere 66 plow, with the packer and pony drill. This setup was common in the upper mid-west and Canada. Folks here in Washington where I live now have never heard of this. When I was old enough to run the tractor in the field I couldn't wait to get home from school in the spring to get out in the field and drive the R with this setup. What I'm looking for is a good picture of a plow with the packer and drill behind it. Not as much concerned if it's pulled by a R. I'm pretty good at stained glass and want to make a stained glass piece but need a good picture to work with to make a pattern. Doesn't need to be colored. Can anyone help? Thank you!

The first fleet arrived in 1788 and consisted mainly of convicts who were poorly equipped and new little of farming techniques. The colony remained far from self-supporting and it was not until the early 1800's that things started to improve. Free settlers started to arrive, they followed the explorers across the mountains and where land was suitable set up farms. T
