For a year and a half back in the mid 90's, I worked as a service advisor at a dodge dealership. The V-10 engine that was in dodge service at that time was built by Lamborghini. Just for a "run around" engine, it did okay. As the engine in a "working truck," it wasn't so good. The dealership sold one 3/4T "light duty" truck with the V-10 engine and after 6 months we replaced the engine due to crankshaft failure. The Lamborghini engine is a car engine with big numbers, but for truck use, its better to go with a proven truck engine, i.e. the Cummins engine or the 360 gas burner, or maybe a big block truck engine. You have the heavier duty transmission and rear end, may have to change motor mounts. Good Luck!!!
