Hi Guys Just put 2 new rears on the old Chamberlain. 18.4x28 Alliance tyres. Noted that the tread is much narrower on these ones. The rims have been widened by 4", and the old tread lugs were the full width of the rims. These ones the tread is too narrow for the rims. Fitted on ok, but looks a bit odd. Oh well, it does a lot of travelling on the bitumen, so maybe it has flattened out the lug profile a bit and the tyres may last a bit longer! Anybody else noted sizes seem to have changed? Rx
