I was bush-hogging some tall brush, and saw something white / gray go right under the tractor and under me. I looked back and I had chopped a bald-face hornet nest, one of those huge big gray globe things, in half. Those hornets came boiling out, and I reached over and yanked that throtle back all the say and hunkered down... didn't get stung once. The other time, my cousin and I were raking cane, I was riding the back of the old sulky rake and he pulled it with the Ford, and somehow we raked up a nest of bbumble-bees. They came boiling around past me [ they just ignored me ] and I-N - S-L-O-W - M-O-T-I-O-N congregated on the back of his neck, before I could yell out, and stung him over and over.
