Even so my favorite is the AK. It shoots a larger round, makes a bigger hole in the intended target, and it's tough as heck. Best of all, it's fun to shoot too.
Put those in with the rest of my guns, be they lever action, or bolt action, semi auto pistol or revolver, and me and the family can spend a day at the range, and have a great time doing something together, outdoors, that we all love to do.
Ultimately owning and/or collecting guns is no different than those that own and/or collect cars, or anything else for that matter. In all cases, it's a mechanical tool, or an inanimate object. However you want to look at it though just the fact of ownership carries some joy, and the ability to use something you really like and enjoy just makes things that much better.
