My first thought is to run a new ground (earth) wire from.the cab to the frame, and probably from the frame to the battery as well, seen a few of these series of tractors give issues with bad grounds... Next question is do the rest of the hydraulic functions work 3 point hitch, loader (if it has one)? Does the powerahift light flash, or just glow steady when it comes on? If it flashes, count the flashes, that will tell you what kind of issue the tractor thinks it is... I'd have to look it up, but if the light flashes let us know.
