The worst for me is being in close proximity to a cigarette smoker, its not the person, its the darned smoke, not so prevalent today, but even following one on the street or sidewalk, just hate the smell of it, irritating beyond belief, makes one think of bad thoughts and I guess its well entrenched with me since I was younger. Back when people smoked in crowded places, a person passing by rubbed the lit end of one along my face, as he passed, he said something sarcastic about it after this black streak was left behind.' His face was connected with a left and he dropped where he stood, bouncer and barkeep never saw what happened and I just went about my business. Always hated these kinds of places anyways, friends dragged into going out as I recall.

Something about that kind of smoke, smells like a building on fire, just hate it, the smoke part of it.

I've learned, things like this and similar are just best to be avoided.

A close 2nd would be the 10 minute lottery ticket buyer in line at the convenience store, but.... I just take a breath and wait it out, funny how we are all wired different with things that are pet peeves. Best to get rid of pet peeves, petty little nonsense things and move on to something positive, some people will argue about the most inane things at time, who has time or room for that in this short iife we get ???
