a few years back my dad went to the local coop and told them he wanted something to kill dandelions in his lawn. they gave him some stuff and said mix "x" amount in water and spray. they did NOT tell him to spot spray and he ended up spraying his entire lawn with roundup. we reseeded the next spring. in your case it's the salts that create issues. I've had places like that I had to replace some dirt, other places the snow took the salts out and we reseeded. Gary
