Years ago, when my Mother-in-Law remarried, she rented her house to a seemingly nice young couple, had one baby.(The kitchen had been completely remodeled about two years earlier.) Everything went well for a few months, they paid their rent on time and kept the yard clean. One day they moved out, IIRC owing a months rent, when we went into the house there were dirty disposable diapers all over, and when I stepped into the kitchen the linoleum went "squish". The water heater under the counter had been leaking long enough to completely soak the entire floor! Kitchen had to be re-floored and re-done all over again.
