I do MRIs for a living in a large hospital. If I told you how many times I have heard that exact same senario it would be in the hundreds.I see this about 3 to 5 times a week. Very common story and almost always has bad results. Osteomylitis is a huge problem in these cases and I hope they can get on top of this fast for you.
