Just got a friends back from the repair shop. This is a 1999 Polaris Ranger. This is the first time it has been back for repairs. Sixteen years without repairs sounds might good record to me.
I have a 2010 Polaris big boss. Hasn't needed anything but normal maintenance so far. Previously had a 1998 big boss until I bought the 2010 model. The 1998 model didn't need anything except normal maintenance.
The 2010 model has the all wheel independent suspension. A big improvement from the solid axels on the 1998 model. The 2010 also has engine breaking which I also find this as a big improvement.
