i only had one dog ever chase one of my cars, [ my problem was dogs chasing my bike] at the time i was telling a elderly friend about it, [ im almost as old as he was now] but he laughed and asked me where the dog was and he'd fix him, i told him i dont want to kill the dog as its owners were family friends, and he said he wasnt going to kill him, just cure him, i went down that road about a week later and there was that dog, some kind of mixed large breed, i never knew what, anyway he just stayed where he was! next time i visited my friend i asked him what he did to fix that dog, he said just put a bright colored rag behind the hubcap of the rear tire and leave a foot or so hanging out, drive by slow about 10 or 15 mph, the dog will come out grab that rag and get slammed down and barrel rolled a coupe times, it wont kill him, but will normally cure him of chasing cars, using the rear tire prevents running over the dog while he's taking his ride , i never have had the opportunity to try it myself, but it sure worked on that big old beast
