Awright. I gotta weigh in here. I have recently hit the same dog twice in two different vehicles. The first time was in the truck and the basset jumped off an overgrown road bank directly in front of the truck. There was no way to miss it and I was going plenty slow. Thump. He wasn't winning and it showed real bad so I thought it best to get him closer to home or further from the Sheppard, either way. I got him a good ways away when he suddenly turned and attacked the front of the car! Bang! Fortunately this time he just bounced off the air dam. I would have never believed it....
