We have a Sams card, and really stock up when we go. Mostly items like condiments, lunch meats type deal, but we get what we need while we are there. Most things we get are in a "bulk" quantity, and we may spend more on say ketchup, since the deal we get is 3 bigger bottles, but per container its cheaper than the grocery stores next size down, We save money in the long run, and more than enough in a years time to cover the card. Plus, tha gas is usually 10 - 15 cents cheaper than anywhere else. Its all in the planning and shopping. We dont go every week, maybe every other week. I also buy alot of produce from the farmers markets in the area, and most if not all of my meats come from the little butcher shop next to the house, or one in the closest town to me.
