Verizon because of the good coverage almost everywhere I used to travel in the west. One dead spot was Midland South Dakota. I could call home if I sat on a hill by a radio tower just outside town. Here at home I have pretty fair coverage in my house and no coverage in my dad's house n Newell, Ia. but everywhere else is fine. In Saskatchewan it was very iffy but I haven't visited my northern friends for seven or eight years so I can't speak for what it's like now. Ten years ago I could get free roaming in Canada for $10 a month and I could cancel it anytime I wanted. I was on a single plan and Marilyn was on a single plan. Then we changed to a shared plan that did not offer the Canadian free roaming. That year when I got home from three weeks in Saskatchewan the Verizon bill was $300! At that time we were paying something like $25 for the shared plan. Ouch!
