: : any way to seal a gas tank from the inside. tank seep where nounting brackets ar attached. : Get a bottle of Green Loctite. Take off tank and dry it. Pour some of the green loctite into tank and turn tank so the loctite will go where the leak is. Green loctite is a penetrating sealer and will seal a leak if it is only seeping. Did this on a VW tank that was leaking where it was put together. Works fine. Got this info from a loctite product information sheet. There are numerous gas tank repair kits on the market that you clean and dry the tank, pour the stuff in, swish around, and then let dry. JC Whitney sells a couple, as well as other outfits that specialize in old car restoration. jpk
