One other thing I'll add on that,where is your ground cable from the batteries hooked on the tractor? If it's hooked up under the dash to a brace near the battery like they came from the factory,that set up started to give out when those tractors were about two years old. Get a real heavy 00 cable made and make it long enough to bolt to one of the starter bolts where it bolts to the bell housing. It'll make all the difference in the world. When they're grounded to the cowl like they originally were,they started to gather rust between the cowl and frame and it didn't take ling at all for you to loose your ground on them.
