: Tore the engine down on my JD and found an extra bolt in the bottom of the crank case, and I don't mean a little rod bolt. It was a 3/4 bolt about 4in long. Looked like it have been in there for years, no one I guess bothered to take the time to get it out. It didn't fit anywhere on the tractor, probably off the piece of equitment that was mounted during the last over haul. Just wanted to know what other odd thing people had found in their old tractors. : I just got done tearing down a 1938 McCormick Deering F-12 that I bought for parts, And found what I think was some ones shirt or a large rag. There was chuncks of it every where. Also a tooth of a spider gear, but this one isnt missing any teeth, all that stuff must have gotten in there the last time it was repaired. Steve T
