The Butte fire here in California was stopped 4 miles from my home. 5 of my freinds lost their homes and everything they couldn't take with them. The place where I used to work is gone.
I dont know this guy, but if one of you can lend him an RV or a 5th wheel to stay in through winter it will help him a lot. He will need it to be stocked with everything from eating utensils to cleaning supplies.
We have had suicides too, contact with him could lift his spirits.
