A lot of our exports were commodities. Corn, beans, wheat. But with China slowing down, and the strong dollar, US exports have a hard time. Not good for farmers. But 87% of the economy is service oriented, and not affected as much by export problems. Autos are doing well, and housing is getting better, prices are going up.
