I'm too long retired as an electrical engineer so no warranty, however best I recall I agree with Dr S. ALL basement receptacles need to be GFCI protected with the sump pump exception he mentioned. That don't mean each recp needs to be a more expensive GFCI, you can wire standard receptacles downstream off their load side.
