I planted peanuts here for only the third time in about 30 years. From the research that I did and the Questions that I asked here when they are filled out to suit you its time. They do not blossun all at once so waiting for all to fill is not the right answer. Also the yellowing of the leaves is a indication of maturity. The normal approach is to dig/pull the plants turn the plants over so the peanuts can dry for a time then harvest them from the plants. In my case I wasn't able to leave them to dry on the plant so picked them as I went washed then on some 1/2 in hardware cloth to clean. We eat most of them salted and boiled. Some we eat green raw, some we spread out and dried and eat them that way. Don't store in a container or bucket they need air circulation or they will sour. I dug/pulled my 3 75 ft rows over a three week time. By the end they were getting a little more mature than I liked and some kind of bugs were eating then under ground.
