Assuming the efficiency of creating Ultra sonic vibrations (and transferring them to the clothes, as well as making sure the clothes do not melt into a solid (plastic is welded using ultrasound)) the idea makes sense. But from my experience it is more energy intense than using Nat gas, and uses dirty coal etc. to create the electricity. Getting 15 6 year olds to scream at a pile of wet clothes might be less expensive. jim
