Got just what you need sitting on the lawn for sale. I started out with a 1973 Cub Cadet. I used it for mowing an acre lawn and getting firewood off 25 acres. It did very well til the mid 1980s when it was completely worn out. I shopped for a replacement and found the prices had more than doubled since I bought the Cub Cadet. So this is what I decided on. I bought the Farmall Super A with some implements , sold them and bought the L59 5 foot woods mower.$1100 at that time. The SA would climb the hills and turn just as short as the CC. In 1990 I packed up and moved to Wisconsin and took the SA out there to mow 2 acres. I was really enjoying myself when 10 years later the boys decided to move back. I returned to NY and bought 1/2 acre and didn't need the SA so I sold it to my SIL who used it for small jobs on his farm for 15 years. He's decided he doesn't need it anymore so it sits on my front lawn for sale. I've used it a couple times since it came over and it still does a beautiful job. It has rear tires new this year, fronts new last year. A new mower drive belt ($150). It's a 1949 66 years old and it will still be running when those expensive new mowers are back in China being recycled.
