While I have owned GP's I never had the clutch apart in them. But every other 2 cyl. those bolts are pretty much straight. So I would tend to think yours got bent somehow ? Try them first as is and see if they seem to align up and fit ok. Maybe they were designed that way ? Which way is the bend ? If the top of T end is not in line with the shank it will not pull equal on both of the dog ears.
