A 50 HP tractor will easily pull one all day long. I pulled a 6 row 7000 without fertilizer with a 51 A John Deere in 4th gear planting mud holes and had no horsepower or traction problems. I pulled it fifth (6.5 MPH) just a bit but the temperature gauge didn't like it. It doesn't take much of a tractor to pull it but it does take good hydraulic pressure to raise the markers. The A struggled to raise the markers though.
